The latest results of the CHEMonitor study were presented by our CEO, Dr. Juan Rigall, at the Handelsblatt Annual Chemistry Conference 2026 in Berlin and formed the basis for in-depth discussions about the future of Germany as a chemical industry location. 

The focus was on the competitiveness of Germany as a business location, corporate responsibilities, geopolitical challenges, as well as the opportunities arising from innovation and sustainable chemistry. 

The discussions on site made one thing clear: companies are ready for change – now what is needed is strong implementation and the right framework conditions to enable investment and growth.
