Work and leisure: regular team meetings strengthen cohesion

Event

In our daily project work, we see how important cohesion and the ability to work in a team are. Although this is a challenge for a remote company like us, we place special emphasis on personal contact. At Santiago, cohesion is paramount, and that is precisely why regional team meetings are held regularly, combining work and leisure in a special way.

Our teams in the various regional hubs meet every 1-2 months for a team event that not only involves working together, but also provides plenty of fun and personal exchange.

The events take place in rented office spaces, such as the Design Offices, which provide an inspiring environment for our work.

But our regional meetings are not just about working. We notice how much team events strengthen cohesion not only at our summer and winter events, but also in smaller circles at the cluster meetings. A diverse and varied program of leisure activities strengthens team spirit, and at the same time it's a great opportunity to try out activities that some of us haven't done before.

A small insight into our previous events can be found here:

  • Axe throwing in Frankfurt: An exciting experience that requires both skill and teamwork. Our teams in Frankfurt had the opportunity to prove their accuracy and have a lot of fun.
  • Curling in Munich: This Bavarian winter sports classic not only provides fun moments, but also a healthy dose of competitive spirit. Our Munich colleagues were able to show what they are made of on the ice.
  • Bowling alley & Escape Room in Stuttgart: Whether on the bowling alley or in the Escape Room - our Stuttgart colleagues not only have a steady hand, but also showed a high level of solution competence in the Escape Room.
  • Golfing in Hamburg: Concentration and precision are not only essential requirements on projects - our northern cluster also gives its all when golfing and shows what it's made of with a lot of fun in the game.

These regional meetings have become an integral part of our corporate culture. At Santiago, we are proud to have such a dedicated and motivated community of employees who feel connected not only on a professional but also on a personal level.
