As part of the CHEMonitor initiative, we fulfilled a special commitment: for every 25 registered participants, we established an additional bee colony at our Willich office. What began as a short online survey participation has evolved into a lasting contribution to biodiversity and environmental sustainability.
Today, we are delighted to see our bee colonies thriving. They have successfully weathered both the winter months and the first summer heatwaves and are now approaching the honey harvest season. This year, we are expecting a record yield of approximately 77 litres of honey.
Even more important than the harvest itself is the health and development of our bee colonies. Beyond producing honey, they play a vital role in supporting biodiversity around our office by pollinating a wide range of cultivated and wild plants. Their ongoing contribution helps strengthen local ecosystems and promote environmental sustainability.
While our bees continue their important work, the next CHEMonitor survey is already in preparation. Industry professionals who register now will be invited as soon as the next study launches.
We would like to thank all CHEMonitor participants for their valuable contributions. Your engagement not only helps generate meaningful insights for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries but also creates a tangible and lasting positive impact beyond the survey itself.
