A Warm Welcome to the Team!
This month, we are delighted to welcome five new colleagues to Santiago Advisors: Lisa, Miyuki, Heiko, Alexander and Clemens, who are joining our team and making valuable contributions from day one.
To make their transition as smooth and enjoyable as possible, our onboarding process typically consists of four steps.
1. Welcome Package Before Day One
At Santiago, our people come first. We believe that remote work should never mean missing out on personal connections. That is why our welcome package includes a handwritten card and a signature Santiago mug (perfect for coffee dates), alongside the necessary hardware.
2. Integration Days
The next step in our onboarding process is our Integration Days. At Santiago Advisors, we want to make the start as personal as possible for our new colleagues.
Over the course of three days, they learn about Santiago Advisors’ history and strategy, get an introduction to our internal processes, and have plenty of time to ask questions. The Integration Days also include a team dinner, giving everyone the opportunity to get to know one another on a more personal level.
3. Beraterthon
The third step in our onboarding process is the Beraterthon. Our new colleagues spend two days working together on a case study, which they present at the end.
The goal is to involve them in project work from the very beginning, help them develop their consulting skills through hands-on experience, and create value for both themselves and the company.
4. Training and Professional Development After Joining
At Santiago Advisors, we believe that excellent project work can only be achieved through continuous learning and development.
That is why we offer both new and experienced colleagues several opportunities throughout the year to attend training sessions led by experienced trainers from academia and industry.
