We are delighted to present the 14th Santiago Art Edition from the series “WEISS WAR DER SCHNEE” by Thomas Wrede.  

This extraordinary work adds another highlight to our Art Editions, showcasing how photography can explore the space between reality and illusion. 

In his works, Thomas Wrede creates landscapes that appear convincingly real at first glance, yet play with perception and illusion. “WEISS WAR DER SCHNEE” documents the faces of melting glaciers, which, upon closer inspection, have already lost much of the snow that initially seems visible. Like many of Wrede’s pieces, this work invites viewers to look more closely and question what they see.
